Art Philosophy by Prima Watercolor Confections - Complexion
I purchased this Complexion set from Art Philosophy by Prima quite some time ago. I just really never got into writing about it. You couldn't buy them in the shops here in Denmark anymore but I could still see that there are still a few sets available online on platforms like Amazon, Shopee and Craftelier.
Just like the previous two that I had, this set comes with a handy metal palette case. There was no much information about the color's lightfastness and pigment mixtures included in the set.
The colors include Black, Coconut, Tiki, Peach Cobbler, Lemonade, Gold, Cavern, Bear, Redwood, Chant, Namaste and Unite. Once again, fun names from Prima. In a nutshell, it's basically a collection of browns and flesh tones. I liked the gold very much and used it a lot on my sandy beaches. The blocks were dry and not sticky. So no honey was mixed in the pigments. They rewet easily enough and the pigment load is decent.
Overall, it is a fun set for drawing sketches in my sketchbook but I doubt that I will use it as much since I am not drawing a lot of people. I did use it when I painted a birthday gift for my cousin. It was pleasant to use for a beginner like me. All in all I think it turned out alright.
